Educator and Employee of the Year

Congratulations to Mrs. Kim Tappmeyer, Dardenne’s Educator of the Year!
Mrs. Tappmeyer is a kindergarten teacher with a strong passion for supporting students’ academic growth and social-emotional development. She is highly skilled at identifying and meeting individual student needs, ensuring that every child receives the support necessary for success. Kim consistently encourages her students while providing clear expectations that help them grow into amazing leaders.

Beyond the classroom, Kim serves on Dardenne’s Veterans Day Committee, helping to create a meaningful and special day to honor our veterans. She is also the sponsor of the Sign Language Club, where students learn to sign the Pledge of Allegiance and perform signed songs for special occasions.

A true team player, Kim is always willing to lend a helping hand, offer advice, or simply be there when someone needs support. As a member of the kindergarten team, she regularly shares ideas, supports new team members with curriculum questions, and embraces collaboration. We are proud to celebrate Mrs. Tappmeyer and the positive impact she has on our students, staff, and school community.
