As the weather warms up and we spend more time outside, we want to take a moment to review our school safety procedures to ensure all of our Firebirds stay safe. ❤️💙

Please take a moment to review the attached flyer outlining important safety reminders and expectations. Partnering together helps us keep Flint Hill a safe and supportive environment for everyone.

Welcome back! It's an A Day at the high schools, a B day at middle schools and an E day at elementary. Need food? Click dining in the menu of your school website to see all of the options, and have a GREAT day!

While students headed home a bit early, Flint Hill teachers were hard at work engaging in vertical math teaming focused on problem solving.

By collaborating across grade levels, our teachers strengthen alignment, share strategies, and ensure students experience consistent, high-quality math instruction as they grow year to year.

This time together helps us better answer:
✔️ What do we want students to know?
✔️ How will they show their thinking?
✔️ How can we support every learner in problem solving?

We are so proud to celebrate our Flint Hill Elementary students who were selected as Picture the Music winners for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra!

Picture the Music is a special program that blends music and visual art, inviting students to listen to a piece of music and express what they hear, feel, and imagine through artwork. Our Firebirds truly found their voice and brought the music to life through creativity, color, and imagination.

✨ Leadership Assembly Highlights ✨

Today, our Firebirds learned about Habit 6 – Synergize, focusing on the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and valuing different perspectives. When we work together, we are stronger!

We also proudly celebrated our Habit 5 Leaders — students who exemplify Seek First to Understand by listening with empathy, respecting others, and communicating thoughtfully. We are so proud of these leaders for setting the example for our school community!

Thank you to all of our amazing Flint Hill Elementary families who came out for a night full of laughter, prizes, and togetherness. The gym was buzzing, smiles were everywhere, and the Firebird spirit was strong!

This month, our Firebirds came together for our Leadership Assembly as we focused on Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood—listening with empathy, showing respect, and valuing others’ perspectives.

We also proudly celebrated our Habit 4 leaders who have been shining examples of Think Win-Win by working together, showing fairness, and lifting others up. 🌟

We are so proud of the leadership, growth, and heart our students show every day. Way to soar, Firebirds!

Our 2nd graders had a sweet learning experience thanks to Officer Thorpe! As a beekeeper himself, Officer Thorpe shared his real-life experiences, expertise, and passion for bees with our students.

This visit connected perfectly to what students are learning in class and brought their science content to life through authentic, hands-on learning. We are so grateful for community members who take the time to share their knowledge and inspire our Firebirds!

Our annual School Spelling Bee was a big success, showcasing the hard work, confidence, and perseverance of our incredible spellers. Students represented their classes with pride and demonstrated impressive spelling skills through multiple challenging rounds.
Congratulations to Devanandan Nair, our Spelling Bee Champion! We are so proud of all of our participants for their courage and dedication, and we wish our winner the best of luck as they move on to the next level of competition. Way to go, Firebirds! 🔥
